The
image of the 6-drawer chest at right is an i-drop enabled object. If using
Internet Explorer with the AutoDesk®
i-drop plug-in, the full object will be loaded. Otherwise, users see
the "proxy" image.
With
AutoCAD 2000i or AutoCAD 2002 (with the i-drop plug-in installed), when
users move the mouse over the idrop object, the pointer turns into an
eyedropper.
The
object can be dragged-and-dropped into AutoCAD 2000i or AutoCAD 2002,
and the current drawing file is loaded as a block.
We
can create basic i-drop pages using "normal" html, and we have
also implemented dynamic i-drop pages that read from a parts database
and create the page, complete with i-drop code, on-the-fly.
Visit
the Autodesk i-drop Center for more information about i-drop, and
to download
the i-drop ActiveX Control.
